Hello, and welcome to my little corner of the internet!
If you’ve landed here, you’re probably curious about me or why I started this blog—so here’s a bit of my story!
In early 2024, I had a serious health scare that forced me to completely rethink my approach to food and wellness. What started as a challenge turned out to be a true blessing in disguise. I now focus on what I eat rather than how much, and I’ve finally broken free from a 10-year sugar addiction. I’ve eliminated ultra-processed foods from my diet and now cook everything I can from scratch—not just because I have to, but because I genuinely love it!
I’ve learned to trust my body, listen to its needs, and create an environment where it can truly thrive. And the biggest surprise of all? I’ve discovered a true passion for cooking and baking after years of believing I hated it (my family still can’t believe the change! 😆).
This journey has ultimately led me here, to the creation of this blog—a space to share my passion for food made from scratch, my experiments crafting date-sweetened treats, and my discoveries in the world of sourdough!
